Developer

We are looking for a mid level PHP developer to take forward an established Drupal system as the team’s senior developer. 

With knowledge of Drupal or solid experience with a comparable content management system, our ideal candidate will be someone who wants to take the next step in their career to lead our technical department, working closely with marketing and business teams.  You will be an integral part of the strategic team, keeping the business team abreast of technology trends and opportunities to improve the site.  Our technology roadmap currently includes mobile development and third party API integration, and it will be up to you to guide the system’s future development.

Applicants must have solid PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS experience and a background in either Drupal or broadly comparable content management system.

Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of website usability, Search Engine Optimisation, integration with third party data APIs; any mobile (app or website) development experience will be a bonus.  Our site is managed on a dedicated LAMP stack so experience managing this type of environment is also highly desirable. 

There is capacity to work from home, though this will mainly an office based role.  Our position as a major family holiday portal means there is often the opportunity  for discounts on travel and related perks.  We are looking for someone who can work from either Tunbridge Wells or London and start as soon as possible.
