Things to do with kids in Portes du Soleil

Les Portes du Soleil is a family ski playground with rolling pistes that mean you can take children off in almost any direction without fear yet put in some serious distance (and find some steep slopes) when they’re in ski school. When they get out of school, most just want to ski with Mum and Dad for the afternoon, so a large area where they feel they can travel and explore is perfect.

For details of the most family-friendly resorts, see our destination guides to Les GetsMorzine and Avoriaz.

Eat

Eating out and self-catering are both easy in this region of child-friendly resorts. See our French Alps and Switzerland guides for more on local cuisine.
