Les Portes du Soleil is a family ski playground with rolling pistes that mean you can take children off in almost any direction without fear yet put in some serious distance (and find some steep slopes) when they’re in ski school. When they get out of school, most just want to ski with Mum and Dad for the afternoon, so a large area where they feel they can travel and explore is perfect.
The winter sports season lasts from mid-December to late April. For summer activities, the season runs from June to September.
