Why

The Barbados Sports Camp is a unique event as it provides coaching for visiting children in their summer holidays. The emphasis is purely on fun and it is proved the kids learn new skills and improve their game with an emphasis purely on fun under the guidance of such high calibre coaches. The sports this summer will be Football, Cricket and Netball, with star coaches including Alan Hansen, Sir Geoff Hurst, Mark Bright, Gladstone Small and Olivia Murphy amongst others. Best for

Active kids between the ages of 9 to 17 years, who enjoy sports. Kids who like to excel in their favourite sport in perfect conditions, they will also have a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from legends of the game and ask them about their incredible careers.

When

The camp is free of charge and will be held in the summer holidays for children visiting the Barbados. The camp runs on weekdays from 5 - 29 August between 10:00-14:00, and is located at the 3W’s the famous training ground of the University of the West Indies, just outside Bridgetown, Barbados.

Stay

Various hotels and resorts in Barbados offering something for all parents. Kids clubs providing indoor and outdoor recreations such as beach and pool activities, lessons in local dance, computer & video games, culture and many more. As well as the coaching sessions for Football, Cricket and Netball with star coaches, Barbados is also a kids' paradise and a great destination for families. There are plenty of fun filled and exciting attractions for all ages to do and see at any time of the year.

Beside the fact that Barbados is the only Zagat rated Caribbean island offering gourmet dining experiences to authentic island “eateries”, all of the island’s restaurants go out of their way to welcome children.

Cost

Coaching sessions will be hosted by Barbadians and UK sports stars and is Free of charge. You may book up to 4 children between the ages of 9 to 17 years, for 1 to 5 days at Sports Camp. The children will be split into age groups, and with Bajan cricket legends and UK sports stars it will be a truly unforgettable experience.p>
