Family Holiday Insurance
Holiday insurance is a must, whether you're travelling far afield or remaining in the UK or the EU (in which case you're partially covered by the EHIC card). Do check that your chosen insurance covers you for last-minute transport or accommodation cancellations due to accident or illness, which is all the more likely for those travelling with children.
You'll need specialist cover for skiing or any sports or activities involving risk of injury that you'll be undertaking.
