does anyone have any tips where to spend a week long family holiday in Italy? I would prefer self-catering accommodation, preferably with a pool. Any suggestions? Thanks Karen
This gorgeous new hotel is Italy's best kept secret. Situated in the rolling Puglian countryside it has delicious food, townhouses perfect for famillies and out of this world children's facilties including a fab creche.

we have been in Sardinia two years ago. I loved the place but I prefer to explore new places. Tuscany sounds good to me as I always wanted to see Florence.. What else is worth to visit in Tuscany?
Good to hear from you.
We have got a great exclusive offer from Sardatur, where you can get an extra 10% off their advertised prices if you call them and quote Take the Family- have a look here http://www.takethefamily.com/suppliers/sardatur
They have properties in Sardinia and Mainland Italy, I would have a look or call them up on our dedicated phone number and ask them about their self catering properties. In my experience I find a self catered complex, either with a hotel attached, or a small complex of villas with a shared pool is absolutely brilliant for family holidays. Plus you'll have the best food in the world! Sardinia has beautiful beaches, but if you want a dose of culture/museums then Tuscany is a good bet.
