Where to take my three children 6 years and under?

Hi there,

I am a single mum with three boys aged 6 year, 4 years and 2 years old, a beachy holiday would be nice, all inclusive would be fab or even self catering, my budget is £1600. It would be nice to get away for 7-10days at the end of July, basically during the summer holidays. Where do you recommend for us as a place and then within my budget? Thank you for your help.

Hi EvaWhy don't you try

Hi Eva

Why don't you try Pierre Vacances - click here http://www.takethefamily.com/suppliers/pv-holidays and you will find an exclusive 100euros off discount code. Pierre Vacances have loads of great places to stay in France and Italy for children, and it's very affordable too. You could get a train/ferry or cheap flight to France, which would potentially work out cheaper than a 'traditional' package holiday.

Hope that helps a bit!

Hi
Just thought i'd share this with you!! We went last year (and are returning again this year) to a GREAT holiday complex in Brittany - perfect for the kids. They can play in a safe environment and have tons of fun (swimming pool, animals, play areas, bouncy castle)..The gites are fully equipped and lovely! our best holiday yet, the kids had such a good time, and gave us a chance to chill out too!

Uk holiday!

Try http://www.coombemill.com/ in Cornwall, it's a child friendly farm, not far from the beach but also a place where the kids can run around without you having to watch them every second! I have three boys and they loved running round with the other kids. They made friends with other children staying there, because we went on the feed run every morning where they got to feed all the animals, and collect an egg from the chickens!

We were there in August, so we did go to the beach a lot and we hired bikes and went on the camel trail but we also had days when we didn't leave the farm - the boys played all day, my husband spent the day by the fishing lake and I sat in peace with a book in the gardens!

It might not seem as exciting as going abroad, but if you're thinking about a holiday in the UK then I'd say it's definitely worth taking a look Smile

I’d recommend Coombe mill

I’d recommend Coombe mill too, the kids were with their father for Christmas this year, so I wanted to organise something special for my week after with them. I usually find it quite hard (and exhausting!) to find something that keeps all three entertained, but the farm was brilliant because they could do their own thing. I got talking to some of the other parents on the animal feed in the mornings, and it was nice for the kids (and me!) to make some new friends! Can’t remember prices of properties now, but have a look online and see.
