Haven Parks Introduce New Features and Activities

Wednesday 13 February 2013

As part of an ongoing refurbishment program, Haven has invested £40 million in its camping and caravan parks ready for the start of the 2013 season on 18 March, including new leisure facilities, restaurants and accommodation. Parks receiving substantial upgrades this year are Perran Sands in Cornwall, Rockley Park in Dorset, Golden Sands in Lincolnshire and Craig Tara in Ayrshire.

Meanwhile, new activities for 2013 include bushcraft at five parks, including Kiln Park in Pembrokeshire and Devon Cliffs.

Suitable for kids 7+, the sessions include shelter-building, water purification and fire-building. All Haven parks will host the new ‘Everyone Outdoors’ program of outdoor games such as rounders and frisbee, while at Lakeland in Cumbria there’s a new Explorer Path unveiling the history behind the area and at Seton Sands near Edinburgh there's a new ‘Trim Trail’.
