Childcare

Clubs: Junior Rangers Club - To be a Junior Ranger you need to be between 6 and 11 years and ready for adventure. Children will be in the care of professionally qualified and experienced staff, and kept amused with a whole host of age-appropriate activities. Indoor and outdoor activities include, face-painting, arts & crafts using seeds, leaves and recycled material. Also available for reservation are cots, (first one free, and 2nd at small additional charge), stairgates and highchairs. All accommodations have microwaves.

Price

from £10 (jan) to £50 per person per night, in a Caldey Lodge, based on maximum lodge occupancy for a mid week break. Peak Summer breaks from £47 per person per night or Autumn Getaways from £25 per person per night. Included in the price: accommodation, bed linen (except cot linen), towels, multi channel digital TV, exclusive and complimentary access to the Blue Lagoon on Tue, Thur and Saturdays between 9.00 am and 12.00 pm, discounted entry to Blue Lagoon at other times, subject to availability and capacity, freedom to explore Bluestone’s ancient woodland and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on foot or by cycling, approx 500 acres, access to the Bluestone village including restaurants, pub, shops and wine bar, and any other services or amenities specifically associated with accommodation type.

Accommodation

Skomer Lodges: These 3 bedroom executive lodges sleep up to 6 people, 2 storey, spacious, open plan with rich luxurious decor. - Ramsey Lodges: These 2 bedroom, 2 storey lodges sleep up to 4 people, upside down living concept with style and space. - Caldey Lodges: Single storey 2 bedroom lodges, can sleep up to 4 people, semi-detached with outdoor area. - Skomer Lodges offer outstanding luxury, these breathtaking 2 storey lodges, are supremely comfortable with a liberating sense of space. A detached lodge provides: - six beds in three bedrooms consisting of one double and two twin beds that can be zipped together to make doubles as required. - three bathrooms two of which are en-suite. A gloriously appointed open-plan kitchen leads into the dining and lounge area, with its mezzanine floor and impressive balcony directly above. On the ground floor you have an open plan living space complete with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, spacious dining area and lounge, plus all those personal touches that will make your stay truly memorable. The ground floor bedroom and wet-room style bathroom allow for wheelchair accessibility to the Skomer Lodges. Skomer lodges have an outdoor patio area complete with furniture. - The Ramsey Lodges are detached, spacious two-storey lodges using the upside down concept means both kitchen and lounge areas are on the first floor, with two bedrooms on the ground floor, maximising views. The ground floor bedrooms, one double and one with two twin beds which can be linked as a double if required. Both bedrooms are en-suite, one with a stylish wetroom and one which includes a bath/shower. Upstairs you have a spacious open plan living area complete with studio-style kitchen, dining area and spacious lounge. The interior décor is based on pastel and earthy colours, giving a warm and welcoming atmosphere after a busy day.

Located in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, nestled between the Preseli Mountains to the north and the breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast to the south. By rail: Whitland station is approximately 10 miles from Bluestone. The county is well serviced by local and national bus routes and there are two large ferry ports at Pembroke Dock and Fishguard, offering neighbours in Ireland just a short cruise direct to Bluestone.
