Camping Interlude is a lovely relaxing campsite, with the tents set on sandy pitches under cooling shady pines. Young families will love this location, with a glorious beach right on the doorstep. The beach has a gentle shelving shore that is ideal for swimming, windsurfing and for young families. On site, there is a combined indoor/outdoor pool close to the modern restaurant and bar area. The island the site is set on joins the mainland by a toll bridge, and exploring the island by bike is superb fun. The Ile de Ré is very flat and there are a variety of interesting cycle tracks to enjoy.

The nearest airport is La Rochelle which is 12 miles away. The site is a 20 minute walk from the village of Le Bois Plage-en-Ré which offers shops, bars, restaurants and an excellent market. The nearest beach to site is a 5 minute walk.
