A haven in the centre of this lively and popular Vendee coastline. As one Canvas' most social and active sites in the height of the summer, it is ideal for teenagers. There are excellent sports facilities, tennis, table-tennis and volleyball as well as live bands, discos and karaoke. There are two good tennis courts and a fantastic pool complex including an indoor and outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. Younger children will also enjoy making new friends at the excellent playground or playing a round or two at the mini-golf.

Childcare

free clubs for children from 4 years: The Hoopi Club is a fun-filled programme of events for 4-11 year-olds. Buzz Club organises sporting activities and outings for teenagers in July and August. Children's pool, children's playground, games chest, baby room & baby baths, and toddlerland.

Accommodation

a Canvas Maxi tent is large, bright and a real favourite with children. Or choose from a range of luxury mobile homes, from the Jubilee, Century or Millenium range, with fridge-freezer, cooker (oven, hob, grill) a microwave, and more. (All accommodation is equipped with blankets and pillows, so you only need to bring towels, sheets and pillow cases - many customers use a duvet cover to sleep inside. Alternatively, there is a bed linen and towel hire service.

Location

1 mile inland from St Hilaire-de-Riez and 3 miles north of the village of St Gilles; Both offer a choice of bars, restaurants and shops. A 3 mile drive will take you to the clean and sandy beach at Sion-sur-lean where children will adore exploring the rocky coves and rock pools. This is a good spot for swimming and has a sailing school.
