Camping Pointe St. Gilles is located on a picturesque south facing bay and is one of the best campsites in the area, with a great swimming pool complex and waterslides and pamper Spa. Its just a ten minute walk from town, with a small beach directly opposite. There are lots of facilities for young children and Its great for teenagers.

Price

from £299 to £967, for 7 nights in a two bedroom mobile home. Prices are per family for 2 adults and up to 3 children (up to 18 years), with mid week Dover to Calais ferry crossings, gas, electricity and tourist tax included. Larger mobile homes or longer sea crossings incur a supplement.

Accommodation

A range of 2 bedroom mobile homes are available to choose from, and include the Focus, the roomy Lodge  - ideal for families with older children, or the massive Magnum (40% larger than the Focus.) Matthews France provides you with a comprehensive inventory of equipment in each Mobile Home. This includes most impossible to pack items such as, blankets, (duvets in Lodges and Magnums) pillows, cooking utensils, teapot, crockery and cutlery. It is all there, down to coat hangers in a proper wardrobe. Note that sheets, duvet covers, pillowslips or towels are not supplied.

Location

This campsite is only 76 miles from Roscoff. Visit Quimper the medieval capital of the region, or cross over the river and head towards Pont L'Abbe into the heart of the Breton Countryside. On market days you will usually see women in tradtional Breton dress in Quimper and Pont L'Abbe. A visit to the old walled city of Concarneau will be a wonderful day trip. There are numerous boat trips up the river Odet or out to the Glenan Islands.
