In a truly lovely coastal location, stylish Da Balaia on the Algarve (is one of Club Med’s most highly rated properties for family holidays and breaks, with great staff and food (including plenty of healthy options) and easy access to a child-friendly, white-sand beach. Rooms (in three hotels on the complex), with funky decor. All-inclusive, Club Med Da Balaia is best with younger kids, since childcare is restricted to under-5s. With the majority of visitors being French, it also helps to have a smattering of French or Portuguese, although there are a few British staff.

Club Rooms sleep up to 6 people (max 4 adults) on a double/twin beds plus extra beds/cot; interconnecting rooms available. Sea or pool views, with balcony or terrace. Located in main hotel and golf hotel. On floors 2 - 8 in both hotel buildings.

Deluxe Rooms sleep up to 5 people (max 4 adults) in a double/twin beds plus extra beds/cot; some interconnect with a Club Room. Some with sea views. Located in main hotel (3rd floor) and golf hotel (various floors). Some rooms have lounge area and balcony.

Suites (some seaview) sleep up to 2 adults + 2 kids on a double/twin beds plus extra beds/cot in living area and balcony. Located on 1st and 3rd-5th floors in Golf Hotel. 1st-4th floors in main hotels.
