In a truly lovely coastal location, stylish Da Balaia on the Algarve (is one of Club Med’s most highly rated properties for family holidays and breaks, with great staff and food (including plenty of healthy options) and easy access to a child-friendly, white-sand beach. Rooms (in three hotels on the complex), with funky decor. All-inclusive, Club Med Da Balaia is best with younger kids, since childcare is restricted to under-5s. With the majority of visitors being French, it also helps to have a smattering of French or Portuguese, although there are a few British staff.
