Domaine de Chalain is a large and lively site, ideal for an active family holiday. It is beautifully set beside a lake, surrounded by hills. There is a fabulous pool complex, with indoor and outdoor pools, and indoor and outdoor children's pools. The complex also has waterslides, waterfalls, sauna, rapids and a Jacuzzi. There is also an excellent range of sporting facilities, with many watersports by the lake. For keen walkers and nature lovers, there is a trail through the woods from Doucier to the Cascades du Herisson, a spectacular series of waterfalls which drop nearly 2,000 feet in less than two miles.
