Domaine des Ormes, Brittany

Set in the grounds of a French château in northern Brittany, very close to the ferry port of St-Malo, the Domaine des Ormes is a great holiday park for active family holidays or breaks, especially for families with kids of differing ages, by virtue of its vast range of things to do. The feeling is far from intimate (especially in the hectic school holidays), but in addition to the wealth of actitivies and amenities, there's also a wide choice of accommodation available, from simple pre-erected tents to treehouses and nature lodges – not all of them available with every operator. Mobile homes, however, remain the most prevalent option with families.
