Neilson's New Beachplus club, at the Portomyrina Palace, is by a long stretch of sandy beach. It has its own extensive landscaped gardens with archaeological remains of the pre-Hellenistic Temple of Artemis, found during hotel excavations. The hotel's private beach is the home to Neilson's sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing equipment, as well as a volleyball court.
