Holiday Village Aliathon, Cyprus

Described as excellent or very good by the vast majority of visitors, the Aliathon Holiday Village in western Cyprus is a bustling spot for family holidays and breaks, with highly rated childcare, activities and facilities. The Fishing Village is the hub, with the best accommodation; the Aegean Village is older, with more basic rooms. The food is good if unexciting; kitchenettes allow for in-room snacking. Where the Aliathon Holiday Village falls down is its poor evening entertainment, its beach access (across a road and shared with other hotels), and the lack of control over sunbed- and parasol-hogging.
