Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai

A 5-star in family-friendly Dubai with its year-round sunshine and reasonably short flying time from the UK, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a good option for luxury family holidays and breaks, not least because it offers free access to the waterpark next door – and before the general public are let in too! The kids' club is great, the staff are polite and helpful, and the choice of restaurants means there's hardly any need to leave. The only real niggles about the Jumeirah Beach Hotel are that the décor is a bit dated, but ongoing renovation should put paid to this.
