La Casella, Ficulle, Umbria

La Casella is a family-run eco-hotel in the Umbrian countryside, Italy. A collection of converted old farm houses, La Casella is not a sleek, modern resort and is a few miles off the beaten path. The pony club and children’s play area is great for a family holiday or break. It’s also possible to get the train to Rome for a day trip out or relax around the large pool area. The rooms look a little run down, although this may be part of the rustic attraction to the place plus they are spacious and the apartments have a kitchenette with everything you may need during your stay.

£178 per room based on two adults sharing in mid season (July) on half board, children sharing a room with their parents are charged £20 per night also on half board. Two children sharing their own room receive a 40% discount.
