Reviews
A very wet week but great fun
It was very wet and we were expecting a bit of a quagmire, especially having heard the reports, but the site was extremley green. The whole site on a hill with the main village being at the bottom, so be prepared for uphill cycling and lots of walking. (our 5 year old managed the cycle though, so not that bad)
Before I left I would have liked to have known ...
Before we went I wish I knew that the hire bikes were very good quality and of all shapes and sizes. Plus I would have also liked to have known there was a creche, it didn\'t seem very well advertised and only found out half way through the holiday! Lastly I didn\'t realise that the Blue Lagoon was also open to the public, so it is definitely worth choosing the Bluestone only swimming times if you want to avoide the crowds.
