Childcare: book the family into BIG Country and sit back and relax. The new 700 square metre BIG Country child care facility offers a mind boggling array of activites and facilites for children of all ages!At BIG Country kids can develop with fun games, be creative with arts and crafts or simply blow off steam in one of our soft play areas! All kids between 2 and 12 years are entitles to up to 6 hours of complimentary childcare each day.
Price: prices vary from the hotel to the self catering accomodation. For the hotel you will pay between £400 and £600 for a weekend for a family of 4 including half board for adults, full board for children and 6 hours free childcare. Under 2's are free on a full board basis.
Accommodation: Crieff Hydro has been extensively redeveloped from top to bottom over the past nine years, this Victorian building offers a choice accommodation in traditional and spacious hotel  rooms, in self-catering chalets through to the five-star luxury of self-catering lodges. Within the hotel there are family rooms which accomodate a maximum of 4 (a double bed, a single bed and an extra bed) or interconnecting rooms which have a bathroom between them. Families of 5 or more are advised to discuss their requirements with reservation staff.
Facilities: over 40 activities from swimming in one of the two pools, one an adults only spa, using the 300m2 gym or teeing off at the hotel's 18 hole golf course. The onsite outdoor activity centre offers quad biking, off road driving, archery and even a 50 foot climbing wall and high and low ropes courses. You can also enjoy horse riding out and about on the estate, play a game of tennis, squash or badminton or join in with the daily entertainments program. If pampering is more your style the Victorian Spa in conjunction with the Health Hair and Beauty teams can tailor a package to soothe, relax or invigorate. For the kids an adventure castle with a trampoline, climbing ropes, slide and ball pools, a new purpose built under 2s crèche facility (for an additional supplement) and a child friendly multi media centre Plus access to a theatre - great for karaoke and dancing.
Location: if your travelling by rail, Gleneagles 9 is miles away, whilst the nearest airport is Dundee Riverside which is 32 miles away. If your taking the car, Crieff Hydro is approximately is only an hour's drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
