Club Med Phuket, Thailand, located south of Bangkok has something to offer the whole family no matter what age. Accommodation is in the form of family-friendly bungalows, although, decor could do with a little update. The resort has its own beach, however, you do have to cross a road to access this. But Club Med staff are on hand, the beach has plenty of sun beds and drinks can be taken from the resort complex to the beach. The staff are a major attribute to this place, management included. The general concensus is that they can't do enough for you and always have a friendly manner.
