Located on the Red Sea in Egypt, Ritz Carlton Sharm el Shiekh is an all-round resort that caters well for the whole family. Kids club for the little ones, outdoor pools and a lazy river, spa and fitness centre and for the more active, tennis courts and beach volleyball. There isn't much of a beach, however the pools are clean, well maintained and with plenty of sun beds around, you can make a family spot for the day. The food can sometimes be hit and miss and restaurants tend to appear very quiet in non-peak times, with no apparent atmosphere. Ritz Carlton Sharm el Shiekh is a little dated in some areas, but working is ongoing and kept as discreet as possible so not to affect your family holiday.
