A short hop over the water from southern England, the Seaview Hotel on the Isle of Wight is a quirky hotel with excellent food and staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. The quiet seaside location makes it ideal for low-key family holidays and breaks where the emphasis is very much on home comforts, including hot-water bottles and mugs of Horlicks.
