Childcare
Porto Pirata is a supervised area for guests from 6 months to 12 years old. It is the most complete facility of its kind in Portugal, and is 7000 sq. metres in size. It has 2 purpose built wooden ships, swimming pool, second separate pool for remote control boats, playground, bouncy castle, bicycle track, and a basket and volleyball pitch. Clubs are for 3 to 12 yrs with a creche for ages 6 months to 2 yrs. Open Apr until Oct, Easter holidays and Christmas holidays.Opening hours are 09.30 – 17.30. The Clubs entertainment team arrange a daily activities program. There is also a children's entertainer Examples of Activities: For children from 3 to 6 years old Monday - Mini Olympic Games & Fun Tots Tennis, Tuesday - Face Painting & Handicraft. Sports activities for 8-12 years incl archery, basketball, football, table-tennis and tennis. There's also an 18 hole mini golf course. See 'Price' for cost of clubs. Babysitting is also available, as is a children's menu. High chairs, sterilisers, baby baths and pottys are all available for hire. Also note, that the on site shop sells nappies and baby food, with more shops in front of the resort.
