Childcare

The OFSTED-registered Time Out Clubs for children aged 3 months to 7 years run sessions lasting two or three hours. All activities are supervised by qualified nursery nurses. Football, tennis and bowling tournaments are organised for different age ranges, too. Babysitting is available for a reasonable hourly fee; it must be booked in advance. Childcare is available in 2hr sessions, again for an additional fee. There are nappy-changing facilities throughout the resort.

Price

Prices vary according to the standard of accommodation and the time of year. A 4-day midweek break in November can start at £199 for a two-bedroom Comfort Villa. A two-bedroom Executive Lodge – recently extensively re-designed – is available from £649 during the summer holidays. Prices naturally increase during school holidays and for more exclusive accommodation types.

An active weekend

We had a good weekend away, it didn\'t rain and we hired cycles for the weekend. For a family it cost us around £60 to do so for the weekend yet our accommodation in pine block we did need it. Please note childrens bikes do not have lights on (the 16 inch ones) and if you are coming back to the accommodation at night it makes it a bit harder. My son loved the activities on offer and made the most of it, He did Archery, Aerial Adventure (going on the zip wire), and he was lucky enough to have a private fencing lesson as noone else was booked for the session. He really enjoyed it. The children loved the pool which is literally the only thing that is free. We had a nice evening meal in Hucks. They are clued up when it comes to families as children eat of a children\'s buffet which meant the children could eat straight away and by the time the adults meals arrived the children were finished and playing in the childrens play area or on the computers. It was really good as we had a lovely evening meal with our friends in peace! We did short tennis for a family activity at around £10 including hire. We worked out this is something we could have done locally at home as a family and would have been free though! We did spend quite a bit over the weekend though yet for us it was a plus and we would return. Hopefully next time I will book earlier to get a better rate. Thumbs up from us!
