Family Spa Resort Alpenrose
A large, top-class resort with luxury for both parents and youngsters of all ages. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a seawater pool, a large new spa. There are also a whole host of fitness programme including aquagym, as well as Nordic walking tours and river rafting. Families will love this large and luxurious resort, giving everyone a chance to unwind, with terrific kids clubs and baby clubs.

- included in the price: 89.5 hours childcare a week (age 3-14); 69 hours babycare. Baby Club for small children, Adventure Club for older ones – and plenty to keep parents occupied. Club activities include horse riding, knights’ day at local castle ruins, bread making, rafting, boat building and much, much more.

- in winter from £116 to £141 per adult per day in a small family apartment, and from £123 to £153 per adult per day in a large family apartment. In summer from £80 to £104 per adult per day in a small family apartment, and from £97 to £128 per adult per day in a large family apartment. Including free childcare, on an all inclusive basis, plus free transfers from Innsbruck and Munich. (Prices are based on 2 adults staying in a two bedroom family apartment. Child prices vary according to age: 3-6 year olds from £25 to £32 per day in winter and summer in a small family apartment.)

- 144 beds. Smaller or larger family-friendly apartments and luxury suites, with water beds, whirlpool baths, sauna, DVD player and internet.

- golf simulator and golf school at the hotel and a new golf course (9 holes, to be expanded to 18) nearby, reachable by golf buggy. Indoor and outdoor pools, a seawater pool, and the large, new spa has saunas, steam bath, tepidarium, fitness room and solarium, along with beauty treatments, massage, ayurveda and aerobics. There is also a fitness programme including aquagym, as well as bike, hiking and Nordic walking tours and river rafting. In winter Zugspitz Arena ski area is minutes away. Children's facilities include: Pirate World, climbing wall, theatre, cinema, soft play area, indoor pool with wave-making machine, outdoor pool with water slide. Extra children's activities include ski school (but free transfers), magic school, swimming and riding lessons, go-karting, (at extra cost). Gourmet food, wine list with 270 choices, entertainment in the cocktail bar and shows in the theatre.
