Part of the Luxury Family Hotel Group, owned by Von Essen Hotels, Moonfleet Manor is set in the heart of some of England’s least discovered, yet most beautiful couontryside in West Dorset. It’s unique vantage point overlooks Chesil Beach, one of the finest barrier beaches in the world. Moonfleet has fantastic, ‘quirky’ but sumptuous interiors and an informally elegant atmosphere. The light is extraordinarily clear and the sense of tranquility envelopes you as you survey the rugged beauty of a landscape.

Childcare

a truly family friendly Hotel in the most beautiful part of Dorset. No need to ask if they have cots, z beds, highchairs or children's high tea, the answer is always YES. Their crèche (the Den) is open all year round and is free of charge to residents. It provides a safe haven where smaller children can be left to enjoy themselves in professional care. This is not the only area where children can play - they also have an outdoor play area with a sandpit, climbing frame, slide and swings. Housed within the Verandah building is a huge indoor play area, which contains lots of activities suitable for all ages, such as soft tennis, table tennis, table football and pool. There is a children's lunch (healthy options) served in the Restaurant from 12 noon – 2.00 p.m. High tea is served in the Children's Tea Room from 5.00 p.m. and is a two course buffet which changes on a daily basis. There are delicious healthy options always available. Children can dine with their parents in our main Restaurant. Moonfleet request that dinner is taken no later than 7.15pm.

Price

from £165 per night, inclusive of dinner, bed and breakfast for two adults. (There is a 10% reduction single parents with children.)

Accommodation

36 en-suite bedrooms, all beautifully decorated. There are many interconnecting rooms, suites and even cottages to suit families.

Facilities

indoor swimming pools, badminton, tennis, a Verandah building has a large indoor play area with giant board games and trampolines! There is also an outdoor play area with sun loungers and hammocks to relax on. Upstairs in their Verandah you can enjoy a coffee and chill out looking across the beautiful views of the Dorset coast.
