Although the accommodation is fairly basic the food is great, the staff are friendly and professional and the resort is amazing for all, no matter what level of skiing experience. Childcare
Esprit in-house Nursery and Snow Club. The Nursery caters for babies from 4 months – 36 months while the older children can enjoy a skiing lesson and a half day fun club. Dedicated Esprit ski lessons with maximum 8 per class. Esprit baby listening patrol service offered each evening.
Price
from £589 to £1059 per adult per week, including, flights, (Gatwick to Geneva), transfers and half-board accommodation. Discounts are available for children and special offers are available for very early and late bookings. Full child discounts are available for children in linked rooms for certain dates. Prices for a family of 4, 5 or 6 from just £1395.
Accommodation
25 rooms and suites, offering sleeping accommodation for all family sizes, whether you are two parents and an infant, or a larger family of six. The third bed in the triple rooms is similar to a top bunk but with a wardrobe beneath, and is situated in the entrance hallway of the room. All rooms and suites will take a cot. Esprit suggest the single top bunk in the triple bedrooms is only suitable for children over 6 years, but parents have the final decision on this. Bathrooms are small and furniture is basic. All offer en suite facilities and many have balconies.
Facilities
dining-room, reception and lounge/bar with log fire, lift to all floors except the fifth, Chalet Hotel breakfast, afternoon tea, 5-course adult dinners including apéritif. Val d’Isère’s three main lifts are just 350m away, or a free shuttle bus 30m away to take you to Le Fornet or La Daille for an alternative starting point.
Location
this is the main selling point of the hotel. The Ducs de Savoie is located right in the heart of the village, just 300m from the lift system. A free ski bus stops 30m away from the hotel to take your family to other parts of l'Espace Killy.
