Daphnes Villas and Apartments

Set in a large olive grove away from the road, amongst beautiful gardens with lots of flowers, Daphnes is a haven for families, and incredibly peaceful. All accommodation is designed in traditional Zakynthian country style with exposed beams, large private verandas and tiled roofs. There's a playground for the children and lots of space in the garden to put up your hammock, play boule or to move out the dinner table from the veranda for a lunch in the shade of an olive tree.

Childcare: natural children's playground amongst the large gardens, with seat swings from trees, ropes and ladders to climb, tyre swings, not to mention the hundreds of small olive trees to climb! (See seat swings below.)
Price: from €460 to €780 per apartment per week, and villas from €785 to €1,215 per villa per week. Extra beds area available at a cost of €70 per week. Included in the price is air conditioning, linen and a maid service. A 10% discount is available for your 2nd and 3rd week. Car hire can be arranged for you, and is available from €235 per week.
Accommodation: choose between six different kinds of accommodations, ranging from small one-room apartments sleeping two, to two bedroom villas sleeping six-seven. All accommodations have air conditioning and a safe. 7 apartments are able to accomodate 2 to 4 people with space for an extra bed. Bedrooms have twin or double beds. Bathrooms have shower and WC. The kitchenettes are equipped with electric 2 ring cookers, kettle and fridge, suitable for light catering. There are also 4 villas at Daphnes which sleep up to 7 people and are perfect for larger families, a group of friends or a couple looking for complete privacy. Bedrooms are spacious, kitchens fully equipped and there are pleasant comfortable sitting areas.
Facilities: BBQ area - a natural meeting point, reception under a big parasol, large olive grove and gardens. Nearby amenities include, a mini market, three taverns, a coffee bar, car rental and also a small hotel with a swimming pool open for all. There are lots of nearby activities to try, including, walking, cycling, horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, boat trips, beach volley ball, pottery courses, and day trips to Olympia and Cephalonia.
Location: within the boundaries of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos in Greece, just above Porto Roma Beach on the Vassilikos peninsula. A hundred metres (or a 3 minute walk) down the road you will find Zakynthos' most relaxing little beach; Porto Roma. Within 100-300m from Daphnes villas and apartments, up the little road, there is a mini market, three taverns, one coffee bar, car rental and also a small hotel with a swimming pool open for all. A path leads you through the olive groove to the long sandy shallow Gerakas beach (Turtle beach). The green hills of Vasilikos with beautiful macchia and pine forest are also just above with easy paths to follow.
