I have to agree with you there, even more so after reading countless damning articles about the Wiltshire Safety Camera people and their antics over the past few years. I was recently caught on the A36 after leaving Center Parcs too. The road was totally clear at the time, and even though I accept from the evidence I was speeding, there has to be a line drawn on the operation and placement of cameras on so-called 'safety grounds'. The partnership obviously target the Monday and Friday departures from Longleat Center Parcs to make money from people who don't know the area very well. This isn't good use of the equipment in my opinion. Maybe the roads immediately either side of Warminster would be better as they seem to have a lot of pedestrians around! I for one will be steering clear of Longleat in future, and any thoughts of moving into the area have been firmly kicked into touch. Well done Wiltshire Police. Another driver you've probably stolen ?60 from, but it will cost your county infinitely more than that in the coming years from the lost income I would have been spending in the area!
