I used Phenergan on my eldest daughter for car sickness from when she was about 7 years old. I always bought it over the counter in the chemists. It worked for a treat the sickness (although I always wondered if that was psychological) but it did not make her more drowsy or more awake at all - she seemed exactly as normal. Maybe the dosage for car sickness is smaller than that for inducing sleep?
