I have used Phenergan as a cure for travel sickness in the car - for which it worked brilliantly - but only when the dose was given just before travelling. It does also have a sediative effect and helped my son to get through a period of difficulty sleeping. I found 1 chemist unduly suspicious when I asked for phenergan, but when I stated it was for travel sickness they were fine. I thought if its for sale over the counter it must be safe if you read all the directions and only use it when necessary.
