I think first time families may find this somewhat stressful! I don't think there is anything wrong with taking a small baby away, but the lack of a familiar support network may prove difficult for many? With older children already, it would be a good way to spend family bonding time. We see loads of small babies on flights these days, and in many ways it is easier than takinga toddler.
