I agree.
Unless you have teenagers, and even then you might not be too keen on them venturing to San Antonio, I would stick to the North and East Coast, although Ibiza town itself is quite a good compromise.
Santa Eulalia has a great beach and lovely marina and 'Restaurant Street' (the clue is in the name) is a good one to venture down. Taxis are easy to find, and also if you are self catering the food market (amazing fresh produce including veg, meat and fish)is brilliant! Heading up north is almost like another island entirely, and incredibly rural for such a small island. Idyllic in fact! Recommended!! Portinatx, also has beaches where the shallows go on for ages, which is perfect for young children. - Jimmy J
