Smile Family Holiday sites

Can anybody recommend any other sites for good advice please?

This one only seems to feature companies with offers which to me means they are probably bigger companies.

I would rather hear about smaller companies as they always seem to pay a bit more attention to their customers.

Or is it just me?

Dear Hullaballoo

Interesting that it is not more apparent on our site, but our partners (over 130) range from individuals letting their accommodations right up to whopping great big holiday companies. We are proud to have close relationships with both, and maintain regular contact.

They all have something different to offer families.

We like to include every bit of extra value to our users, which is why we like to focus on negotiating the very best offers we can, which can range from a complimentary welcome hamper to a whopping 25% discount.o

Smaller companies are not excluded by any means, and our own services are also tailormade to best suit their needs.

Our end product is a huge one stop shop family travel resource, with everything from adventure trips, to long and short haul holidays, to ski and winter sports, to winter sun, across the globe, for all families, for all budgets, as well as a massive range of UK breaks.

Take the Family is the one place all families should visit to explore and book hand-picked family holidays and breaks within the UK, Europe and the rest of the World. Advice on where, on how and online.

We're always keen to hear of ideas for improvements.....so keep them coming please!

Thumbs up

Probably to get the best deal on an all inclusive is to go on a package holiday. Who you book with can be a mind boggling exercise but its worth checking out your travel agent to see what deals they have available. Let them know your budget and they will try to work it out for you. They have the experience and know the different operators and who has good deals on - they look at them all day everyday.
If you want to do some of the leg work then checkout teletext on ITV, you will see lots of offers advertised on there. Just watch out for any additional supplements such as fuel and airport axes.
I tend to find that for larger familes the low cost carriers can work out quite expensive as they do not normally offer child prices, a seat is a seat to them. Best advice is to shop around and be realistic with your budget! Remember that when you are away it is unlikley that you will need much money as all of your drinks and food will be included so it is worth spending a little bit more.

Default Family Holiday Sites

Hullaballoo, if you are looking to book with confidence and to receive personal service, but don't mind putting your own holiday together (ie book the accommodation directly with the owner etc) YourHolidayMatters.com carries a small-but-growing portfolio of properties worldwide whose owners have all been through an approval process which is quite rigorous, and have been identified as "Owners Who Care".

The properties themselves range from simple apartments to luxury city pads in an also-growing number of countries, so there is a good choice - the listings all have one common denominator though: each owner has demonstrated that they are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure your holiday is hassle-free from the moment you send an enquiry to the moment you return home. Too good to be true? No, not this time!

Default st lucia

hi claire margaret

have you thought about st lucia? - there are heaps of flights and it's incredibly child-friendly and increasingly affordable...

the 'village resorts' of windjammer landing or cotton bay village may strike a good balance for you between a villa and a hotel.

See also our destination guide to St Lucia for more about the island.

happy holidays!
