Default Disadvantages of Med holidays in the low season?

I have two children under 3, and am lucky enough not to yet be tied to travelling in school holidays. We would like to take a last minute break in the Med soon. I was wondering what others' experiences were, in terms of May or September breaks, to the Med? Eg: kids clubs and activities. Thanks Annie

We went to Benalmadena, Costa del Sol the last week in September. The resort was nice and quiet but eveything was open and the weather was fab.

hi, just got back from a holiday in the riviera (Nice) with a 2 yr old. It was great, the weather was perfect, we are both now tanned, but it was quiet. Everything was open and people were pleased to see you, really recommend it...

Puerto Pollensa, Majorca in May with a 2 yr old. Beautiful bay, toddler friendly sandy beaches and great weather - mid/late 20's (not too hot!)
