We fancy a family activity holiday in the French Alps with our daughter and a friend, both 13. We have been looking at a company called Activities Abroad who provide flight, accom and use local activity centres for the activities. These include white water rafting, canyoning, hydrospeeding. None of us has done anything like this before and I wondered if anyone could give advice as to the suitability for 2, 13 year old girls and parents! The River Aude is where rafting takes place and according to the blurb it is a grade 4, this I found out by searching around is quite turbulent but is it suitable for beginners. Has anyone been with Activities Abroad or know anyone who has. Any advice gratefully received.
