We have always been ones for more unusual holidays. Whilst researching even more styles of holiday to add to Take the Family, I came across a range of holidays that I just cant help thinking about! If you have ever seen the film 'City Slickers' then you'll already know what i am talking about.

In the USA/Canada and Mexico, and other parts of the world, you can now take your family to stay on a working Cattle Ranch, and even take part in Cattle Drives sleeping in family tents under the stars!

Would you also be tempted to take your family on such an adventure?

I would absolutely love to go on one of those holidays and I can't wait until my children are a bit older. I think I looked into it and they have to be 8yrs at most places, there were various options though, there was staying and roughing it on the ranch or staying in more of a resort with trips out to the ranch. I would love to hear if anyone had done it, if they enjoyed it and what age their kids were at the time.
