We live really near the longleat site and try to go at least 3 times a year if funds allow!! With 3 children of 16, 12 and 6 they all have a great time, true vaule for money

Am I right in thinking that 'locals' can visit Center Parcs for the day, for a reduced rate? Does anyone know if this is correct and if yes, what is the maximum number of miles you can live from the site to do this? - Thanks

We went to Longleat Centre Parcs last year and invited my sister and niece to come and visit us. We were able to buy guest passes for them at about ?12 each. My niece actually met some of her school friends there who were locals and had visited on a day trip - but think that they must have had parents who worked there. i think you will have to call the local parc directly to find out.

I was at CP Longleat recently and was told by them that it's now possible to book day trips via the local tourist agency in Warminster and I think Bath. I wasn't told you had to be local, just book locally. Might be worth checking out. It sounds a really good idea, and makes CP doable for a normal weekend when you only have Saturday and Sunday. If the local tourist agencies are clued up they should be able to recommend B&Bs nearby if you can't do there and back in a day.
