Question Fancy going off the beaten track?

If traditional package holidays aren't your family's thing, we would love to hear about your favourite type of holiday.

Heading off with a napsack on your back, or more accurately nappy sack, and sleeping bags tied on with bits of string, is one option. But what about some of the family friendly options to really get away from it all. Farm holidays are a great way for the family to relax in a safe environment and learn an awful lot besides, or Tipi or Yurt holidays can be some of the most luxurious camping trips you'll ever make!

However unusual the holiday, whether you've already taken the leap or are dreaming about doing it, here's the place to have your say ...

Default Festivals with family and kids?

We've done the odd festival over the last 15 years or so, only one of which was post having kids. We quite fancy doing something like that this year with our children now a bit older, and more likely to enjoy themselves, and surely the odds on a better summer this year!

Any ideas? I've heard of Glastonbury Children's festival, but have a feeling it is a day time only event in town?

We are looking for something not too huge, with daytime and nightime events, but a bit chilled at the same time......without heading for Spain?
