Hotels accomodating families in one room

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children (ages 9, 6 and 3) and are regularly looking for breaks in quality UK hotels which can accomodate us in one room or at least in 2 interconnecting rooms. These are hard to find and I would welcome any recommendations. For starters we can recommend the Copthorne Hotel Slough (near Legoland) and the Best Western Abbey Hotel in the centre of Bath.

For "no-frills" cheapest and cleaniness you can't beat the Travelodges and Premier Travel Inns - great base and great price for family at about £45 - £60 per night - usually have restaurant or bar adjacent.

Our family (2 adults + 3 kids aged 2 to 8)have been to BEDRUTHAN STEPS HOTEL in Cornwall twice now, and ALL of us love it!! They are so brilliant at accommodating families, the views are spectacular of Mawgan Porth beach and the rooms really luxurious. They have 2 heated (by solar power) outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool, as well as a lovely spa. We stayed in a Villa Suite, which sleeps up to 6, (the kids even had their own bedrooms!), last time, but previously we had 2 interconnecting rooms, which was fine too. They also have family suites and truly luxurious Apartment Suites (sleeps up to 6) if your budget can stretch to that. As well as a fabulous sandy beach in front of the hotel, our kids loved having a bit of freedom by taking part in the kids clubs (Ofsted registered), which accommodate up to 15 year olds. They also have special kids meals, a nanny service and a baby listening service. Honestly....take your family here....It is Brilliant!!! You won't want to leave!

Try forest dale hotels www.forestdale.com They have hotels around the UK (avg. 3 star) brilliant price plan where kids go free. We stayed new forest in large family room with two bedrooms (we have four kids 9,7,5,2) they all stayed free!...Hotel slightly old fashioned, but very clean comfortable, restaurant was excellent, very traditional style of service. Hope this helps

We particularly recommend Luxury Family Hotels for accommodating families, for example, The Ickworth in Suffolk, where a 'large double' can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 children, in luxurious yet very child friendly surroundings.
Take a look at their 5 Luxury Family Hotels Other options for 2 adults and 3 children include Natural Retreats lodges near Richmond, or The Rosevine on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall offering family apartments and suites. You can also search our site in conjuntion with partners Active hotels for great value hotels all over the UK. |
