Default Jersey question

I don't know Jersey at all so I'm sorry if this is a silly question !

Is it possible to walk from St Brelade to St Helier? We have found a lovely hotel on the beach in St Brelade but we want to go shopping in St Helier. Our son will be 8 months old and still in a buggy. Also, is there a bus that goes? And can you take buggies straight on to the bus unfolded?

Thank you x

Bus routes are plentiful all over Jersey, starting and finishing at the St Helier bus depot - (there are also new 'Island Explorer' routes.) Some of the hotels in St Brelade Bay offer a free mini shuttle bus to St Helier too. It's a bit far to walk at around 6 miles, depending on stamina, but there is also a shopping precint at St Aubins, which would be a lovely coastal walk.

You will need to fold up the buggy to take it on the bus.

Jersey is a terrific destination for families, and St Brelade is stunningly beautiful, and very popular in the peak summer months.

Happy holidays!!
