If anyone is looking for a day out there is the Loughborough Canal and Boat Festival Next Weekend - the 5th / 6th May 2007.

(I'll let you guess the location)

I wouldn't say its worth a long trip but if you are nearby it is potentially an interesting free afternoon out.

If you don't make it I'll put some pictures on Loughborough to you can ssee if you might fancy it next year

Has anyone been on a family canal boat holiday? The idea of it appeals, but I am not entirely sure how much time we would get to spend together?

Everyone I have spoken to says they've had a great time.

I think I would get a bit bored though!

Would be awfull if the weather turned nasty as well!
