Default Mull

We're visiting Mull at Spring Bank with a one year old and a three year old. Does anyone have any particular recommendations either for activities or for eating & drinking.

Default Mull

What a fabulous destination for a family with young children. The isle of Mull is the set for the fabulouw BBC Children?s TV series "Balamory", with it's distinctive brightly coloured terraces, and familiar theme tune, "What's the story in Balamory, wouldn't you like to know?.." A wonderful experience for any young child! Mull gets many more visitors since the series aired, so the area will be more than used to fulfilling a family with youngsters needs. Ideas for activites include seal watching from the comfort of your car - just off the shore between Salen and Aros Bridge, a trip on the Mull Railway (as feature in 'Balamory'), and for a bit of tranquility and calm visit the island of Iona. Have a wonderful trip. We would love to hear about it- Take the Family Team

Default Mull

WE went to Mull last year with kids aged 3,6 and 9. It was a grerat day out. Once you've "seen" Tobermory, thers not much to do in the village. The steam train from near ferry terminal to a castle is great fun for kids. The scenery is fantastic and we could have spent more time there if we had chance.
