Angelina Villa-Clarke has been associate editor of British Airways' 'High Life' magazine for the past 12 years and has also written for other publications and newspapers over the years. She has recently turned to freelance writing full-time, contributing to The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, and The Stylist and Stella magazines, among others, on travel, beauty, health and lifestyle.
"Working on 'High Life' for so long was fantastic," she says. "The best thing was that I travelled extensively and saw some fantastic places. Going freelance, though, has given me a new lease of life. It's great for juggling work around my two boys, and I get to write about a whole range of topics now, especially beauty - which I'm a complete anorak about. You name a new product and I probably have tried it already. Best of all, I'm my own boss!"
She has lived in both Barbados and Venice, Italy, and has travelled widely over the years. She now lives in Epsom with her two boys, Benito (8) and Lorenzo (3), and husband, David, who together with Angelina "have already stayed in some of the best places on earth!".
