Nick Dalton has written about travel for a number of years, increasingly specialising in family options since the arrival of Georgia, now 11, and Henry, eight.

He has just co-written the guide book Frommer's Wales With Your Family along with partner Deborah Stone.

Nick writes regularly for travel and lifestyle supplements in the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, has written for the Times and the Daily Express and Sunday Express, and worked on various other national newspapers. He contributes to the travel pages of the VirginMedia website and to WorldTravelGuide.net.

Nick specialises in skiing - he is co-editor of the Good Ski Guide magazine, and has written extensively about family skiing on both sides of the Atlantic (the children are very partial to Canada!). He is co-editor of the Guide's sister magazines Mountain Magic and Good Holiday, has written travel guides for various US states and also writes regularly for music magazines. He is currently writing Frommer's Salzburg Day By Day.
