Rhonda Carrier, TakeTheFamily's Head of Content, has also written and edited travel guides and material for Frommer’s (their ‘With the Kids’ and ‘Take the Family’ series), Time Out, Lonely Planet, Everyman/Gallimard, Cadogan and others, and translated travel-related material for French companies.
She also regularly contributes to such publications as Condé Nast Traveller, The Guardian,The Observer, The Mail, and The French Paper on family travel, often as part of 'Ask the Expert' panels, has been the P&O Ferries family travel expert, and has discussed family travel issues on the radio, including Radio 4's Woman's Hour.
Having studied in Paris, worked as an interpreter and English teacher in Hong Kong, and generally ventured far and wide, she is now settled in south Manchester, though she continues to travel frequently with her long-suffering family – horror novelist Conrad Williams and their young sons, Ethan, Ripley and Zac.
Rhonda has also written some award-winning short fiction, published in numerous anthologies.
