Sarah Ebner has written for almost every national newspaper, and also spent three-and-a-half years as a producer and occasional reporter on BBC Newsnight.

Since having her children, she has freelanced, writing comment pieces and features for a variety of newspapers and magazines, particularly the Times, Guardian and Telegraph. She has also written a number of travel pieces, all on travelling with a young family.

She also edited Supernanny.co.uk, and now edits School Gate, a blog about education for The Times.
