London-based journalist Tracey Davies writes about travel, food and her
often-errant parenting skills for publications such as The Observer,
Metro, easyJet’s Inflight and Psychologies magazine. As mother to
Angus, 7, and 3-year-old twins Nancy and Lola, her free time is almost
non-existent, though as a restaurant critic for London guide View London she’s seen dining out in the capital at every opportunity.
Tracey
has had an interesting range of jobs, from working as a
sombrero-wearing, tequila-slinging waitress in Hong Kong to being a
canine fashion designer (she famously sold football kits for dogs
during the 2002 World Cup).
Despite extensively travelling the
world in her younger days and now for work, she loves nothing more than
a weekend camping in the country with the kids (“but only when it’s
sunny!”), complete with burnt sausages and warm vino.
