Tracey Davies

Brighton-based journalist and author Tracey Davies has sourced and written travel stories from around the world for more than 20 years. 

A regular contributor to the travel sections of most UK newspapers, including The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Metro and The Sun, and magazines such as Good Housekeeping, Country Living and Breathe, over the years Tracey has covered everything from mermaid school in Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida and adult Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, to a polar plunge with penguins in Antarctica.

A family travel writer for many years, Tracey still travels with her now-adult children Angus and twins Nancy and Lola, mainly because she still foots the bill. She is also a stand-up comic, a regular guest on radio shows for BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey and others, and the co-author with Rhonda Carrier of the memoir Wayward Women.
